Lithium-ion battery stock picking challenge launched

Stockpools and the Investing News Network have announced an opportunity to build your own fantasy stock pool and win real money. They are offering $5,000 in prizes to the top 10 performing portfolios.

Here’s how it works: go to the Stockpools site and pick your very own fantasy portfolio. All entries are free, so invite your friends, too.

Your starting stock is Graphite One Resources Inc. (the title sponsor, and the default pick). After that, you get to pick two lithium companies, two graphite companies, one cobalt company, and two end users of lithium-ion batteries.

The challenge runs from September 5^th to December 2^nd. You can trade up to 10 companies in each category, but you cannot trade Graphite One Resources or your cobalt category choice.

The top ten players who achieve the highest percentage of gains in their portfolio will win $5,000 in prizes.
